Can an outsourced solution really be as responsive as an onsite IT employee?
Most customers experience a significant improvement in service level. A typical customer has 1 or 2 IT employees. Of course those employees can only be in one place at a time. Warner Connect has over 18 employees that are here to service you.
What happens if the internet connection goes down in an Outsourced IT solution? Isn’t an onsite solution more reliable?
Warner Connect does not use the public internet as the connection to our data center. It is a dedicated and private connection. Typically the only time we have a connection disruption is when a cable is cut. For customers that are concerned about having the most reliable solution possible we configure a back up connection using a different path.
Why do I have to get new desktop hardware? Some of my desktops are not that old.
We do this for two reasons. The first is support. With all our customers on standardized desktops we can service equipment faster and keep our costs as low as possible. The second reason is implementation labor. When we deploy using standard devices our labor cost per desktop is kept low. When we try to re-use existing customer owned PC’s our labor cost per PC soars.
What happens to my old PC’s and Servers?
We facilitate at no charge the sale or disposal of your old equipment.
I just paid for Microsoft Office licenses. Do I have to pay again with your solution?
Microsoft has a licensing business model that is made for service providers like Warner Connect. For a small dollar amount per month every user has the full office suite with continuous updates and patches as part of the solution. Because our model includes new desktop hardware, Microsoft software is a part of the solution. Whatever value you have in Microsoft Software on your existing PC’s will be taken into account as that hardware is sold.
